Text 10
W: Good morning, students. As summer is drawing near,I think many of you might want to get a summer job and earn some pocket money or want to try out working in society. But you ought to know that there are many traps out there. When you are offered a job,you must fully understand its nature and what you are required to do.If a job pays you highly but requires few skills,or academic qualifications, you have to be careful. You must decline jobs that may involve unlawful or immoral behaviors.
In the past years, most of the summer job traps were related to money.Employers required the summer workers to pay fees, such as registration fees and administration fees,or even cash payment for training. If you run across these circumstances, think carefully before accepting any demands.
Every year, there are more than 40 cases of injuries related to summer job workers as reported. I strongly advise you to pay extra attention to occupational safety to avoid work injuries.
To sum up,always think, look and ask before you accept any job offer. If you have any problems, consult your parents or authorities such as the police.
